Union Station saved as a hotel
1900
Broadway, Nashville
Public domain · Wikimedia Commons
A Romanesque castle of Tennessee limestone with a barrel-vaulted lobby of stained glass, built when the railroads were the reason Nashville mattered. Passenger service ended in 1979 and it sat open to the weather with the roof failing before it was restored as a hotel.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
