The Strasburg Rail Road keeps running

Chartered to haul freight four and a half miles to the main line, it is the oldest continuously operating railroad in the country under its original name and charter. It had dwindled to a single decrepit locomotive by 1958 when a group of enthusiasts bought it for about $18,000, and it now runs steam through Amish farmland as a going concern.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
