The building opened in January 1993 as the Red River Opry, a country music hall on the north bank of the Salt River. The Opry went bankrupt in 2001 and the room sat dark until new owners reopened it as the Marquee in March 2003. It holds about 1,500 people and books rock, metal and hip hop a short walk from Mill Avenue.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
