The Home Laundry, an industrial plant in Tudor Revival dress
1922
Arroyo Parkway, Pasadena, California

Three Pasadena businessmen, among them the hotel man Daniel Linnard, put up this building on Arroyo Parkway in 1922 for their laundry company. The design kept the offices visually separate from the washing floor while tying both into one structure, which was a new idea locally. Marston, Van Pelt and Maybury gave the plant an uncommon Tudor Revival face.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
