The High Five, five levels of freeway stacked twelve storeys up

Where Interstate 635 crosses US 75 there used to be a cloverleaf built in the 1960s that could not carry the traffic the northern suburbs were producing. The replacement cost $261 million, took from 2002 to December 2005, and finished thirteen months early. Its ramps climb as high as a twelve-storey building, and Popular Mechanics listed it among the strangest roads in the world.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
