The Gold Dome, the geodesic bank
1958
NW 23rd Street, Oklahoma City
Public domain · Wikimedia Commons
The fifth geodesic dome built anywhere, raised as a bank and following Buckminster Fuller's patent by less than five years. Slated for demolition in 2001 and saved by public campaign. Its 625 gold anodised panels are still there.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
