The first Chick-fil-A opens in Greenbriar Mall
1967
Greenbriar Mall, southwest Atlanta, Georgia
Truett Cathy had been selling a pressure fried chicken sandwich at his Hapeville diner for years when he opened a counter here on 24 November 1967 and called it Chick-fil-A. The shop was 384 square feet, about the size of a two car garage, and it helped invent the shopping mall food court. It served for more than fifty six years before closing.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
