Tastee Diner keeps a twenty four hour counter going in Bethesda
1935
Bethesda, Maryland

The Tastee chain started in the Washington suburbs in 1935 and its Bethesda counter still runs around the clock, every day of the year. The Silver Spring branch was made a Montgomery County historic landmark in 1994 and then physically rolled from Georgia Avenue to Cameron Street in 2000 to clear the ground for Discovery Communications. That one has since closed. Bethesda and Laurel are what is left.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
