The Dr. Henry Genet Taylor house, a Wilson Eyre design in Camden
1884
Camden, New Jersey
Wilson Eyre, the Philadelphia architect who shaped the shingle style along the Main Line, designed this house and doctor's office on Cooper Street in 1884. It was one of the first buildings in Camden to be listed on the National Register, in 1971. Rutgers has since converted it into a writers house for graduate students.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
