The DeLaney round barn, the last one standing in Colorado
1900
Aurora, Colorado

Round barns had a brief vogue on American farms around 1900, the argument being that a circular floor let one hand feed a whole ring of stock without ever walking into a corner. The DeLaney barn, built about 1900 on a homestead east of Denver, is the only historic round barn left standing anywhere in Colorado. It now sits inside a 160 acre district of restored farm buildings that Aurora's subdivisions grew around rather than over.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
