The Cyclone at Revere Beach was the first 100 foot roller coaster
1925
Revere, Massachusetts
When the Cyclone opened in 1925 it was the tallest roller coaster ever built and the first anywhere to reach 100 feet. The wooden track ran 3,600 feet and the trains were clocked between 45 and 50 miles an hour. It held the height record until 1964 and kept running at Revere Beach until 1969.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
