The Cleveland Rams play their home games at Shaw Stadium
1938
East Cleveland, Ohio
Shaw Stadium opened in 1923 as a high school field for East Cleveland. In 1938 the NFL's Cleveland Rams, the city's first professional football team and the franchise that later moved to Los Angeles and St. Louis, played three of their four home games here. They beat the Detroit Lions for the first home win in franchise history and then beat the Chicago Bears three weeks later.
