The Detroit Lions win their first NFL title in front of 15,000 people
1935
Detroit, Michigan
The third NFL championship game was played on 15 December 1935 at University of Detroit Stadium, a college ground on the north side of the city. Potsy Clark's Lions beat the defending champion New York Giants 26 to 7 for the franchise's first league title. About 15,000 turned out, the smallest peacetime crowd any NFL title game has drawn. The stadium is gone.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
