The Cannonball House

During Stoneman's raid a shell came across the river, skipped off the road, went through the front of this house and rolled to a stop in the hall. The family put it back on the mantel and kept the hole. It is the only house in Macon hit in the war, which is the entire reason anyone remembers the family who lived in it.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
