The Bost Building, the last building left from the Homestead strike
1892
Homestead, Pennsylvania

The Amalgamated Association of Iron and Steel Workers ran the 1892 Homestead lockout out of this building on East Eighth Avenue, and the reporters covering the fight filed from it. Every other significant structure tied to the strike is gone. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1999 and now houses the headquarters and visitor centre of the Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
