Lawrence Heritage State Park, a mill boarding house turned museum
1980

The visitor centre occupies a restored boarding house from the 1840s, the kind of building where mill hands lived under the eye of the company that employed them. The exhibits inside cover working life in the Merrimack valley mills and the strikes that came out of them. The park opened in 1980 and runs as three separate parcels near the river.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
