Built by free Black Bostonians on the north slope of Beacon Hill, the oldest Black church building still standing in America. Garrison founded the New England Anti-Slavery Society in it in 1832, and the 54th Massachusetts was recruited from its pulpit.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
