This brick Queen Anne theatre on West Main Street is the oldest theatre in Westchester County still working as one. In 1901 it became one of the first venues anywhere to show motion pictures, then a novelty act on a variety bill. Dave Brubeck, Louis Armstrong and Miles Davis all played here, and the room is good enough that classical performances are still recorded in it.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
