The 1,100 seat house opened in May 1914 as a vaudeville stage and movie theatre, designed by the firm of Funk and Wilcox. More than a century on it still runs first-run films and books touring acts. Bruce Springsteen played it twice in 2003 and U2 played it in 2009.
