Baytown, Texas
![]()
The mall opened on March 4, 1981 with four wings around a central court and soon became the largest property taxpayer in Baytown. Shoppers drifted off to Baybrook and Deerbrook, the anchor stores closed one after another, and by late 2019 fourteen tenants were left in 1.15 million square feet. It shut on January 4, 2020.
