Ogden House, a 1736 farmhouse older than the town around it
1736
Swarthmore, Pennsylvania

This three storey stone house went up in 1736, well over a century before Swarthmore existed as a borough. Three of its faces are dressed stone and the fourth is rubble, one of the dressed sides later covered in stucco. It has a double pitched roof and two heavy stone chimneys, and was added to the National Register in 1979.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
