Nu-Way and the misspelled sign
1916
Cotton Avenue, Macon, Georgia

One of the oldest hot dog stands in the country, opened by a Greek immigrant, selling a red frankfurter with chilli and slaw and a particular finely crushed ice that people drive back to Macon for. The neon sign out front has read WEINERS since 1937. Nobody has fixed it, and by now nobody would be allowed to.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
