Mullett Arena, the 5,000 seat college rink that housed an NHL team
Tempe, Arizona
CC0 · Wikimedia Commons
ASU built this arena for its hockey, volleyball and wrestling programmes and opened it in 2022. The Arizona Coyotes then moved in while they hunted for a permanent home, playing NHL games in front of a crowd capped at 4,600, by a wide margin the smallest building in the league. The Coyotes played their last game here in April 2024 before the franchise left for Utah.
