Millionaires' Row
1880
Euclid Avenue, Cleveland
Public domain · Wikimedia Commons
Four miles of mansions belonging to Rockefeller, Hanna, Brush and around 250 others, called the most beautiful street in the world by visitors who included Mark Twain. Almost none of it survives, the money moved to the suburbs and the avenue was given over to commerce.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
