Memory Chapel, the harbour's oldest Protestant church
1870

Built in 1870 at F Street and Marine Avenue in Wilmington, this small Carpenter Gothic building is the oldest Protestant church still standing in the whole harbour area. It was picked up and moved to its present site in 1939, and the Native Daughters of the Golden West had it marked as a landmark in 1946. The congregation that uses it now is Filipino and holds its Sunday services in Tagalog, sitting in the same pews that were installed in 1870.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
