Maimonides Park brings baseball back to Brooklyn
2001
Riegelmann Boardwalk, Coney Island, Brooklyn

Professional baseball returned to the borough in 2001, on the ground where Steeplechase Park had stood, after the Dodgers left in 1957. The Brooklyn Cyclones are a Mets affiliate. The park seats 7,000 and sells another 2,500 standing. The Parachute Jump stands beyond right field and the Wonder Wheel beyond left.
