Two hundred and fifty feet of open steel frame, built for the 1939 World's Fair in Queens, where it was the second tallest structure on the grounds and carried Life Savers advertising. It was moved to Steeplechase Park in 1941 and dropped its last riders in the 1960s. It is the only part of that park still standing, and has been lit at night since 2006.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
