Hot Dog High and the Wienermobile
1936
Madison, Wisconsin

Oscar Mayer's nephew built the first one in 1936, a hot dog on a bun with a driver's seat in it, and the company that ran it made Madison its corporate headquarters in 1957. The fleet is still crewed by recent graduates hired for a year, who are called Hotdoggers and trained in Madison at a course everyone including the company calls Hot Dog High. In 2023 it was renamed the Frankmobile for a few months and the public reaction was strong enough that they changed it back.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
