Hangar One and the airship Macon
1933

The Navy built a shed eight storeys tall and a fifth of a mile long to hold a rigid airship that carried its own fighter planes and launched them through a hole in its belly. The Macon went down off Point Sur in 1935 after two years of service. The hangar is still there, so large that fog is said to form inside it.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
