Greenwood puts copies of the horses of St Mark's on a Fort Worth cemetery gate
1909
Fort Worth, Texas
The Bailey family dedicated this cemetery on White Settlement Road in 1909 and ran it through the same non profit that operates Mount Olivet. When the basilica in Venice moved the original bronze horses indoors and cast new copies for its balcony, Greenwood acquired copies of its own and set them at the entrance, where they became some of the most recognised outdoor sculpture in the city. Harwell Hamilton Harris designed the mausoleum.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
