Four Corners grows from a farming crossroads into one of the most mixed places in Texas

The name comes from the four way meeting of Boss Gaston, Old Richmond and Richmond Gaines roads, and for most of its life the place was a few extended families farming that junction. Houston's push west turned 2,954 residents in 2000 into 12,103 by 2020. About a third of them were Asian American, in the county that now has the largest share of Asian residents in Texas.
