The Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe built this depot in 1900 and rebuilt it in 1938. Amtrak took it over in 1971 and ran Fort Worth's trains from here until 2002, when service moved to the new intermodal centre downtown. It went on the National Register in 1970 and was sold into private hands with the Santa Fe freight building next door, and now works as an events hall.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
