The Susquehanna's last passenger train leaves Hawthorne
1966
Hawthorne station, New York, Susquehanna and Western Railroad, Hawthorne, New Jersey
CC0 · Wikimedia Commons
This depot was the New York, Susquehanna and Western's passenger ticket office and a freight house besides, until the railroad ran its last passenger train on June 30, 1966. The Susquehanna still owns the building. A preservation group, the Volunteer Railroaders Association, leases it and works out of it.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
