Ford's Brook Park engine plant and the 351 Cleveland V8
1951
Brook Park, Ohio
Ford put its first Ohio engine plant on 204 acres of Brook Park in 1951, beside the New York Central main line and near the lake docks that brought in raw material. A foundry followed in 1952 and a second engine plant in 1955. The 351 cubic inch V8 built here from 1970 carried the city's name into every Mustang and Torino that used one.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
