Denton High School, the town's first high school, on its fourth home since 1884
1884
3001 Bronco Way, Denton, Texas
Denton High School opened in 1884 as the town's first public high school. It moved into the building that is now Calhoun Middle School in 1910, then to Fulton Street in 1957. Voters approved a bond in 2018 to replace the Fulton Street school, and in 2022 the Broncos moved onto a 150-acre campus on Bronco Way, beside UNT's Discovery Park.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
