CuriOdyssey keeps the California animals that cannot go back to the wild
1954
Coyote Point, San Mateo
The Junior League of San Francisco started this as the San Mateo County Junior Museum in 1954, and it spent decades as the Coyote Point Museum before taking the name CuriOdyssey in 2011. It holds close to 100 animals, nearly all of them California natives that were injured or too habituated to people to be released. The rest of the building is a hands on science museum aimed at children.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
