Conneaut Lake Park, mostly still standing
1892
Conneaut Lake, Crawford County, Pennsylvania

A lakeside park opened in 1892 on Pennsylvania's largest natural lake, with a wooden coaster from 1938 and a rambling wooden hotel that has burned in parts more than once. It has gone bankrupt, been fought over, sat closed and reopened in pieces, and is now held by a trust trying to keep it alive. Going there is less like an amusement park than like visiting one that has been left out in the weather.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
