A trolley park opened in 1896 at the end of the streetcar line to give people a reason to ride out on a Sunday, and one of the four oldest amusement parks still operating in the country. Its wooden coaster runs out over a four lane highway and back, which required a bridge and took decades of arguing to get built. Admission to the park is still free. You pay for the rides.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
