The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

The oldest surviving amusement park in California, and the last of the great seaside boardwalks on the west coast. Two of its rides are National Historic Landmarks in their own right: a 1911 Looff carousel that still has a working brass ring dispenser, and the Giant Dipper, a wooden coaster from 1924 that was built in forty-seven days.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
