Canal Shores, the golf course split between two villages
North Shore Channel, Evanston and Wilmette
Founded in 1919 on the banks of the North Shore Channel, this 82 acre par 60 course threads 18 holes between back yards and the water. Eleven holes are in Evanston and seven are in Wilmette, so a round crosses a municipal line and comes back. Two of them play over the channel.
