Rackham Golf Course, a Donald Ross layout the public can play
1925
Huntington Woods, Michigan
Horace and Mary Rackham paid for a Donald Ross course next to the zoo and handed it to the City of Detroit, which opened it to the public in 1925. Ross designs are usually behind a private gate. This one has a municipal tee sheet and sits in a suburb that is not even in the same county as its owner.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
