Aurora, Colorado
![]()
Aurora Public Schools ran one high school for decades and simply called it Aurora High School. The class of 1956 was the first to graduate from the building that stands here. A second high school named for William C. Hinkley opened in 1963, and the original took the name Aurora Central to tell the two apart.
