Ambler Heights, 112 houses built for the Gilded Age overflow

Cleveland money climbed out of the Euclid Avenue mansion belt and onto the heights, and between 1903 and 1927 filled 73 acres here with 112 large houses. The district sits just above University Circle and was listed on the National Register in 2002.
