Aliquippa's 1911 railroad station, later a steel company office

The Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad built this depot in 1911, when the town on this side of the river was still called Woodlawn. After passenger service ended, Jones and Laughlin Steel took the building over as offices, which is about as neat a summary of the local economy as a building can give. It went on the National Register in 1990 and now sits empty.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
