Gary, Indiana
Public domain · Wikimedia Commons
The station opened in 1910, four years after the city itself, built in poured concrete and wedged between two elevated railroad lines. It has stood empty for decades and Indiana Landmarks has placed it on the state's list of ten most endangered places. It is listed on the National Register.
