The Aladdin Company of Bay City, Michigan, which sold houses by mail order, bought a tract of the Redland in late 1925 and laid out a Moorish themed city for 10,000 people, drawn largely from its own catalog. On opening day, 14 January 1926, the Sovereign brothers flew in the materials for a house on six chartered planes and had it finished by dark with wiring, plumbing and landscaping. Buyers took 874 homesites that day. The September 1926 hurricane collapsed Florida land prices, and what is left is the curve of Ali Baba Circle in the farmland.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
