A western themed street festival through Old Town Lewisville, run by the city with six stages of live music and the Padrino Foods World Tamale Eating Championship. It has become one of Lewisville's signature fall traditions. The 2026 edition runs Friday and Saturday, September 25 and 26.

The city of Dallas dammed the Elm Fork of the Trinity here between 1924 and 1927 to secure its own water supply, and the small town of Garza on the bank fed and housed the construction crews.
Farmers settled around Grapevine Springs in the 1840s, on ground where Sam Houston's party camped during the 1843 treaty talks.
The Mills Corporation opened its single storey outlet mall two miles north of the DFW runways in 1997, timing the grand opening for Halloween.
Congress authorised the reservoir in the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1945 and construction began in 1948.
