The Hopkins Raspberry Festival ties the city to its history as a raspberry growing center, with a royalty pageant, parade, carnival, and community run each summer. First held in the mid 1930s, it is one of the oldest continuously run community festivals in the Twin Cities metro. The festival takes over downtown Mainstreet for a full week each July.
