Circus Flora, a one-ring circus company founded in St. Louis in 1986, performs a narrative summer show for about three weeks each June under its Big Top tent in the Grand Center Arts District. A four and a half thousand seat movie palace done in a style its architect called Siamese Byzantine, meaning gold everything, elephants on the proscenium and a lobby the size of a church.
Charles Leiper Grigg launched it two weeks before the 1929 crash under the name Bib-Label Lithiated Lemon-Lime Soda, which is one of the reasons it got renamed.
