Charles Leiper Grigg launched it two weeks before the 1929 crash under the name Bib-Label Lithiated Lemon-Lime Soda, which is one of the reasons it got renamed. The lithiated part was not marketing: it contained lithium citrate, a mood stabiliser, until 1948. It was sold for decades on being good for a hangover and an upset stomach, which given the ingredients was not entirely a lie.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
